Meet the Owners

We’re Eddie and Maria Acosta, the husband and wife team behind Skilled Builders. We’re proud to call beautiful North Dakota home and are raising our four boys here. As a family, we believe in hard work, honesty, and integrity, and those same values are at the heart of everything we do.

Construction has always been a part of Eddie’s life. He started working alongside his dad at a young age and has spent most of his life in the industry. In 2012, following the Flood of 2011, we moved to Minot, where we had the privilege of helping rebuild homes affected by the disaster. Being able to contribute to the city’s recovery while becoming part of the Minot community is something we’ll always be grateful for.

As the years went on, what started as a passion eventually became Skilled Builders, officially established in 2018. Today, Eddie oversees our projects in the field, while Maria manages the business behind the scenes. From marketing and branding to the day-to-day operations that keep everything moving forward.

Skilled Builders has always been more than just a business to us. It’s something we’ve built together as a family. We know inviting someone to work on your home is a big decision, and we never take that trust for granted. Our goal is simple: deliver quality workmanship, communicate honestly, and leave every customer feeling confident they chose the right team.
